The Lady Cerina de Jongh The Wine Cecilia and Her Passion to help | ![]() |
The Lady, the Wine and her passion to help... ... to help provide a safe home for homeless infants and to help older children and young adults living on the streets, to find their way back into society in a respectable and sustainable way. These three elements culminated in a sunset picnic concert at Seidelberg Estate where "Cecilia 2006" was launched and winemaker, Cerina de Jongh, announced the partnership between Seidelberg and StreetSmart SA to raise funds for street children programmes. At the launch, the Cape Town Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Dr Corvin Matei, with soloist, Cerina de Jongh, performed Mozart's Symphony no 40 in G Minor and Mozart's Piano Concerto in F Major K459. Guests feasted on picnic baskets done by Cass Abrahams. "Cecilia 2006" recently won gold in the 2008 Women and Wines of the World International Competition. To buy a box of Cecilia 2006, and so assist the Cecilia project to help children in need, please contact Seidelberg Wine Estate.
